We’ve lost a friend…Steve Jobs.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s, the Graphics Arts industry went through a major revolution caused by the advent of Desktop Publishing and of course, the Apple Computer. And although that revolution caused substantial turmoil for us at TGI, a Typography House in those days, it has opened up an endless world of opportunities for our organization. So as the world mourns the passing of Steve Jobs, we at TGI also salute and thank this remarkable pioneer. Apple’s Board of Directors said it best in a statement released after his death…

“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Steve was among the greatest of American innovators – brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.”
